Elite Race Management is proud to present the 3rd annual Fallston Duathlon and Team Relay, where a portion of the proceeds benefit the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. In the past two years, the race has raised over $4,000 supporting the fight against blood cancers. More information on the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society can be found on their website at www.LLS.org.

Entry Fees:

Individual Entry: $60 until February 28, $70 until March 31, $80 until April 28, $90 at packet pickup. (Price includes a 1 day USAT permit, participants who are current USAT members will receive a $10.00 discount). There is no race-day registration for the 2011 Fallston Duathlon.

Team Relay: $80 until February 28, $90 until March 31, $100 until April 28, $110 at packet pickup. (Price includes a 1 day USAT permit, teams that have at least 1 current USAT member will receive a $10.00 discount). There is no race-day registration for the 2011 Fallston Duathlon.

Group Rides:

We will lead two bike course previews for registered and prospective participants. Dates for the rides are Saturday, April 9th, and Sunday, April 17th at Annie’s Playground (Edgeley Grove Park). Wheels down at 8:00 AM rain or shine – please arrive early enough to be ready to go by then. Race Director, Shawn Loper, will lead both rides and offer general course information to attendees. The course is new for 2011, so come on out and get a feel for what you’ll be riding in May!

Course Information:

Start & finish lines, as well as transition area are located in the Annie’s Playground parking lot. 5k run is an out and back loop on the Ma & Pa trail. Trail is wide with a gravel surface and rolling hills. Bike route is also an out and back loop primarily on Route 152 (Fallston Road) with wide shoulders. Race finishes with another 5k on the Ma & Pa trail.

Individuals

Top 3 overall male and female individuals
Top 3 in each age group: 19 and under, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60+

Team Relay

Top male, female, and mixed gender team overall

Amenities:

Race is chip timed with overall, run & bike, and transition times. All participants will receive a t-shirt. There will be water on the 5k course, and water and sports drink at the finish line. Course marshals will direct racers at all major turns. Refreshments will be available post race and random prize giveaways from the event sponsors.

Packet Pick Up:

Packets will be available for pick up on the following dates:

Friday, April 29 from 5 PM – 7 PM at The Bicycle Connection in Cockeysville
Saturday, April 30 from 12 PM – 4 PM at The Bicycle Connection Express in Forest Hill
Sunday, May 1 from 6 AM – 7 AM at Annie’s Playground

Due to time constraints on race day, we DO NOT ACCEPT REGISTRATIONS ON RACE DAY and we HIGHLY ENCOURAGE participants to pick up packets on Friday or Saturday.
