Proceeds from the event will benefit the DeAndre Lorenzo White Memorial Scholarship Fund, managed by The New Macedonia Baptist Church, a 501(c)(3) non‐profit organization committed to honoring the life of DeAndre Lorenzo White. The scholarship fund was established in April 2011 as a lasting legacy to his steadfast belief in giving back to others. Our dual mission is to provide deserving high school seniors within our community financial assistance towards their collegiate endeavors, while raising awareness on the incredible need for organ, eye and tissue donors.

Children under 5 are FREE, but must still be registered by a parent in order to participate and will not receive a t-shirt.
The event will be held rain or shine, and entry fees are non-refundable.
Course Information:
The 5k course will begin at the Holly Picnic Area and make a loop around Greenbelt Park on paved roads. Strollers, pets, roller skates, and other wheeled devices are not allowed on the course for the 5k.
Awards:
Top 3 overall finishers (male or female) will receive awards, as well as the largest team participating, the individual with the highest fundraising total, and the team with the highest fundraising total.
Amenities:
T-shirts will be given to all participants 5 years old and up. Water will be available at the halfway point of the 5k course, and course marshals will direct racers at major turns. There will also be special activities for the kids!
Packet Pick Up:
Packets will be available for pick up on Friday, September 27th at the New Macedonia Baptist Church from 6-8 PM. Packets will also be available beginning at 7:00 AM on race day at the Holly Picnic Area.
Due to time constraints on race day, we HIGHLY ENCOURAGE participants to pick up packets on Friday.
