Ed Hewitt Memorial Run

The race honors Ed Hewitt, who we lost suddenly to a heart attack on 3/9/2014. He was an avid runner for 43 years having run 31 marathons and numerous local races. The Hewitt Family is paying tribute to him and raising money for the American Heart Association.

The event will be held rain or shine, and entry fees are non-refundable.
Course Information:
The race will take place on the paved paths around River Downs Golf Course. The route is challenging, with rolling hills set in a beautiful landscape. Pets, roller skates, skateboards, and other wheeled devices (other than jogging strollers and wheelchairs) are not allowed on the course.
Awards:
Awards will be given out to top runners in each race.
Amenities:
Commemorative race t-shirt (only guaranteed to participants who register by October 19th). If you do not register by the 19th we cannot guarantee that you will receive a shirt. Water will be available on the 5k course and at the finish, and course marshals and signage will direct racers at turns.
Packet Pick Up:
Packets will be available for pick up on Sunday, November 2 (race day) beginning at 7:00 AM.
