5k Run & 1 Mile Walk

Location: The Arena Club in Bel Air, MD
Time: 5k & Walk @ 8:30 AM (Walkers will start immediately after the 5k starts)
Elite Race Management is proud to be the official timer of the Arena Club’s 2013 Monster Dash 5k Run & 1 Mile Walk. The race benefits the Wounded Warrior Project. The mission of the Wounded Warrior Project is to honor and empower Wounded Warriors, and the organization’s vision is to foster the successful, well-adjusted generation of wounded service members in our nation’s history.

Entry Fees:
5k: $25 (Participants under 13 years old are free w/o shirt)
1 Mile Walk: $10 (No t-shirt for walkers – Participants under 13 years old are free)
Registration:
To register a runner or walker 13 years old or younger for free, please use the “13 & Under – 5k or 1 Mile Walk” registration category on Active.com. You will select the 5k or 1 mile walk on the next screen.
Course:
The 5k and 1 mile courses start at the Arena Club and weave through the beautiful campus of Harford Community College on paved roads before returning to the Arena Club for the finish.
Awards:
5k
- Top 3 overall Male and Female 5k runners
- Top Male and Female in each Age Group: 13 and under, 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60+
Amenities:
5k participants who register before September 20th are guaranteed to receive a race t-shirt (walkers, and kids under 13 who participate for free will not receive a shirt). There will be a water station on the course, and water & sports drink at the finish line. Course marshals will direct racers at all major turns. Refreshments will be available post race – also music and random prize giveaways.
Packet Pick Up:
Packets will be available for pick up on the following dates:
- Saturday, October 5th from 7:30 AM -8:15 AM at the start/finish line
Due to time constraints on race day, we HIGHLY ENCOURAGE participants to arrive early to pick up packets on Saturday.
