The Perry Hall HS PTSA “Running With The Gators” 5k run & 1k walk will be a fun event that will promote health and wellness to the Perry Hall High School community to benefit all that participate. Different school organizations will be given the opportunity to create teams where the individual race participant is able to collect pledge donations to benefit that organization. The registration proceeds will be used by the PHHS PTSA for the educational enrichment of the students and faculty of PHHS to include student planner, motivation speakers, student recognition, scholarship, an After Prom Party, teacher grants and staff appreciation. Course Information:

The 5K course begins in front of Perry Hall High School and travels out to Ebenezer Road, making a left onto Honeygo Boulevard. Runners will run in a coned lane up Honeygo Boulevard to Joppa Road, where they will turn around and head back the way they came to Perry Hall High School.

For safety reasons, pets, roller skates, and other wheeled devices (with the exception of wheelchairs) are not allowed on the 5k course. Jogging strollers are permitted, but we ask that you start in the back of the pack so that your stroller does not create a tripping hazard for other participants.

1k Walk

Don’t feel like running the 5k? Walk the 1k with the Chic-fil-A cow! 1k walkers will walk from the starting line to the track, complete 2 laps, and walk back to the finish.

Awards:

Top overall male and female, as well as in each age group as follows: 13 & Under, 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60+

Our fitness club sponsors have also donated great prizes for our winners!

Amenities:

Race t-shirts are guaranteed to all 5k participants registered by March 13 (availability and sizes can not be guaranteed for those registering after the 13th). Water will be available on the 5k course, and course marshals will direct racers at all turns. Restrooms are available inside the high school, and plenty of on-site parking is available.

Packet Pick Up:

Packets will be available for pick up on Saturday, March 21st (race day) at Perry Hall High School beginning at 7:15 AM. Additional packet pickup opportunities may be organized, so please check back for the latest information!
