Time: 5k @ 8:00 AM, Walk begins immediately after 5k starts
Elite Race Management is proud to be the official timer of the Trinity Lutheran Mission Haiti 5K Run /Walk. Proceeds will benefit the Trinity’s Women’s Mission Trip to Port-au-Prince, Haiti. Mission Trip participants will be working with Heartline Ministries in Haiti to improve the lives of women through work at their Maternity Center and their Women’s Vocational Training Center. The event will be held rain or shine, and entry fees are non-refundable.
Course Information
The 5k course will begin inside Mariner Point Park and will loop around the park before heading out into the surrounding community and finishing back in the park. Please note that roads outside of the park WILL NOT be closed to traffic, and participants must stay as close to the shoulder as possible. Strollers are welcome, but must begin at the back of the pack for the safety of other participants. Skateboards, roller skates, and other wheeled devices are not allowed on the course for the 5k.
Awards:
Top 4 overall 5k finishers (male and female) will receive awards, as well as the top male and female finishers in the following age groups:
19 and under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60+
Amenities:
All participants will receive a t-shirt (sizes and availability not guaranteed to those registering after 10/31 – larger size shirts will cost slightly extra). There will be a water station on the course, and water at the finish line. Course marshals will direct racers at all major turns. Awards will be presented after the race.
Packet Pick Up:
Packets will be available for pick up on Friday, November 15th at Trinity Lutheran Church from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Packets will also be available for pickup on Saturday (race day) beginning at 7AM.
