The Ugly Sweater 5k

Gather your family and kick off the holiday season with a festive 5k. Come dressed in your ugliest holiday sweater and run through the campus of Goucher College. Cross the finish line and enjoy Christmas music while visiting with SANTA. All proceeds from the race will be donated to the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation of America.

The event will be held rain or shine, and entry fees are non-refundable.
Course Information:
The 5k will begin on the Goucher College track and head out for two loops of the campus before returning to the track for the finish.
Awards:
5k
Top 3 overall males and females, as well as the top male and female finishers in each age group as follows:
19 & under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60+
There will also be an award for the ugliest sweater, and the “best” dressed pair!
Amenities:
Technical t-shirts will be guaranteed to all participants who register by November 19th (sizes and availability not guaranteed to those registering after November 19th). All runners receive a Santa Hat in their race packet. Participants are encouraged to wear holiday themed apparel and ugly sweaters! Water is available on the 5k course and at the finish line, and course marshals will direct racers at major turns.
Packet Pick Up:
Packets will be available on Friday, December 5 from 4-6 PM at Charles Village Pub. Packets will also be available the morning of the event beginning at 7:30 AM at the Goucher College Track.
