Adam Thompson, 19, was tragically killed in an auto accident in April 2011.He was a 2010 graduate of North Harford High School and was attending Harford Community College at the time of his death. He is the son of Roy and Pat Thompson. Adam’s mother, a nurse, has worked at University of Maryland Upper Chesapeake Health for 30 years and is a part-time nursing instructor at Harford Community College. To honor Adam, scholarship opportunities have been established in his name through Harford Community College and through The Upper Chesapeake Health Foundation. It is the hope of Adam’s parents that others can realize their dream of attending college.

General Public: $25 until April 21 @ 5:00 PM, $35 at packet pickup and on race day
HCC Students & Employees: $15 until April 21 @ 5:00 PM, $35 at packet pickup and on race day
UM UCH Team Members: $15 until April 21 @ 5:00 PM, $35 at packet pickup and on race day
Under 18 With Registered Adult: $10 until April 21 @ 5:00 PM, $35 at packet pickup and on race day
T-shirts are limited to the first 400 participants registered.

Course Information:
The 5K course begins outside the Susquehanna Center and travels through the HCC campus before returning to the starting area for the finish.
The course is entirely on paved and crushed gravel surfaces. For safety reasons, pets, roller skates, and other wheeled devices (with the exception of wheelchairs) are not allowed on the course. Jogging strollers are permitted, but we ask that you start in the back of the pack so that your stroller does not create a tripping hazard.

Top 3 overall male and female as well as in each age group as follows:
19 & under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, & 60+
Amenities:
Race t-shirts are guaranteed to the first 400 registrants. Water will be available on the 5k course, and course marshals will direct racers at all turns. Restrooms are available at HCC, and plenty of parking is available on the college campus.
Packet Pick Up:
Packets will be available for pick up on Friday, April 22nd at UM Harford Memorial Hospital from 3-6 PM, and Saturday, April 23rd at UM Upper Chesapeake Medical Center from 9-11 AM. Packets will also be available on race day beginning at 6:30 AM in the Susquehanna Center of Harford Community College
